Hudson River Arts Workshop Director
Michelle Frick received a BFA from Pratt Institute and studied at School of Visual Arts. She has taught as a visiting artist at Lower Eastside Girls Club, Newark Museum, New York City YMCA, Bronx River Art Center, NewYork-Presbyterian, P.S. 81, and as a regular instructor at Young at Art Workshop in Scarsdale.

Michelle's work has been exhibited nationally in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, and Lexington. She was selected to participate in the Artist-in-the-Marketplace fellowship at Bronx Museum of the Arts. She received the Bronx Council on the Arts Artist Mentoring Fellowship and a BRIO grant. She has participated in artist residencies on Governors Island in New York and at Vermont Studio Center. Michelle's work has been written about in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Time Out New York, and The Riverdale Press.

Michelle lives in Riverdale and her studio is in Yonkers. She is the mother of a former P.S. 81 and Ampark student.
